The 405 mast-top mounting adaptor is used to fit a single sensor (anemometer or windvane) to the top of 25.4mm (1 inch) diameter mast or pole.
This mounting adaptor fits over the mast top and is clamped by side screws. It is not necessary to thread or drill the mast top. This mounting adaptor can be used for A100 series anemometers as well as W200 and SRW1 series wind direction vanes.
Our A100 series anemometers are calibrated using this type of mounting adaptor, so if best accuracy is required it is important to use this mounting.
A variant or the 405 mounting adaptor, known as the 405/135, is avaliable to fit 35mm (1.35 inch = 1 inch BSP) diameter mast tops where a more rugged installation is required.
Special versions can also be made to suit other larger masts and poles.
