Celebrating more than 50 years manufacturing & servicing High Quality Vector Instruments Anemometers and Windvanes at Windspeed Ltd
What is the best anemometer/windvane for my application?
If you intend connecting/interfacing anemometers, windvanes or other sensors to your own equipment, dataloggers or PLCs, the choice of anemometer/windvane usually depends on the following:

  • 1) Signal required from the instrument(s), e.g. voltage, pulse/frequency, 4-20mA etc.
  • 2) What the instrument(s) needs to connect to, e.g. Datalogger, PLC etc.
  • 3) Power available to operate the instrument(s)

  • In either case, our sales office would be pleased to advise you, please contact us giving details of your application and any equipment/loggers involved.
