Celebrating more than 50 years manufacturing & servicing High Quality Vector Instruments Anemometers and Windvanes at Windspeed Ltd
Special options for Anemometers and Windvanes

Our anemometers and windvanes are designed for reliability and long-life in standard applications, however there are some circumstances where optional extras may improve performance.

At low temperatures, icing might become a problem, in which case our instrument anti-icing heaters may assist.

When an instrument is likely to be continuously exposed to the corrosive effects of sea (salt) water and the abrasive effects of sand or dust, our "marine" versions may help.

Anti-Surge protection is also available for some of our instruments. This is to protect against damage from any surges which may be induced in the instrument cables (this will not protect against a direct or very close lightning strike).
